According to Radar Online, the numbers are very miniscule to what they were when the series was in its youth. The news site is reporting that during the show’s fifth season premiere that the numbers were in the 4.6 million range, in comparison to the 11th season that pulled in just 2.46 million viewers.
The KUWTK star confessed out of her 31 years on this planet, this year has been the « worst ».
Lets hope 2016 is a better year for you, Khlo.
Khloe also paid tribute to her family and insisted that despite her hard year, she is still extremely thankful. Fortunately, she got some good news about her health just in time for the family’s Thanksgiving dinner and was not only able to celebrate with everyone, she actually held it at her house for the second year in a row. She gave further details of her condition over the weekend, via E Online, writing, « Mine was exacerbated by stress which is not a great combo ».
Khloe admitted earlier in the day that that 2015 has been « the worst year of my life ». And if all that wasn’t exhausting enough, she’s still making time to spend Thanksgiving with estranged husband Lamar Odom by his hospital bed.
Khloe Kardashian has a staph infection but “will be OK,” Gossip Cop has learned. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star contracted the infection while visiting Lamar Odom at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he’s been hospitalized since not too long after suffering a number of strokes following being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel.
Kardashian has had to cancel part of her book tour for “Strong Looks Better Naked” as a result of the staph infection. Earlier on Wednesday, she tweeted,
“Dolls! So sorry I needed 2 re schedule my book signing. I’m sick &dr’s orders are that I need to lay low until we narrow down what’s wrong.”
That was followed up with another tweet that read,
“Ill be going for more testing today. I’m very sorry again. Stress can run our bodies down so please everyone take care of yourselves.”
But it’s more than stress. It’s actually a painful bacterial infection on her leg that resulted in Kardashian’s fever spiking. Gossip Cop hears Kardashian is pretty sick with swollen glands, but she’s been put on antibiotics. ,
“She is getting treatment and will be OK,” noting the reality star now “just needs to rest and get it treated.”
Kris Jenner Gives an Update on Khloe Kardashian’s Staph Infection
Just days after Khloe Kardashian revealed she unexpectedly canceled a book signing to receive medical treatment for a staph infection, her mom Kris Jenner is offering E! News a health status report.
« She’s been a little under the weather, » Jenner told E! News. « She’s getting better day by day. »
With just a couple of days left before Thanksgiving, Jenner is concerned about her daughter achieving a full recovery prior to the big family holiday.
« I’m not a doctor, but she hasn’t been feeling well, so were hoping that she gets better in the next few days before Thanksgiving since she’s cooking Thanksgiving, » she revealed to E!. « She’s supposed to, so we’ll see—with a little help from the fam. »
So, who will step up to the plate if Kardashian needs a few extra days of recovery in bed?
« It’s supposed to be at Khloe’s house, so well see. If not, you know me—I’m next in line, » Jenner joked.

TV APPEARANCES > 2015 > 16 NOVEMBER – THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW
Khloe Kardashian shows off her rockin’ figure while making an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing Monday (November 16).
The 31-year-old star and author of the new book chatted with Ellen about why she decided to write the piece of literature.
“I was going through a difficult time in my life…And it really just prompted me, like I feel like if I have a platform that could help better some even just one person I feel like that’s what my platform should be for. And I just felt like it was the right time. And the crazy thing is as much as I went through everything that was dramatic and I feel like your scars make you better and tell a better story in life, but this book is very much what I’m living right now. And if this would have happened I think two years ago I don’t know if I would have been strong enough to even have the tools to deal with what I’m dealing with now or be able to balance everything so it’s just really ironic that I’m promoting this book, but I’m actually like living what I wrote about,” Khloe said. “I was in just a depression, but also I did not know what to do with all the anxiety and it [going to the gym] became a healthy obsession and I felt so great.”
BURBANK, Calif. (AP) — The awkwardness of Khloe Kardashian promoting a book while she’s helping estranged husband Lamar Odom recover from a suspected overdose is not lost on the reality star.
« It is very weird to be selling something or telling everybody ‘go buy my book’ when there’s very serious things happening in my life, » Kardashian said in an interview with The Associated Press last week. « Real life happens and nothing is going to stop. Your work can’t just stop. So we have to learn to juggle it all and still make time for yourself. »
The book, « Strong Looks Better Naked, » is a self-help manual that chronicles her weight loss and her rebound after her marriage to Odom collapsed and left her reeling.
« Everything in the book I am living day by day right now, » she said.
Even though they went through divorce proceedings, they are still technically married, and Kardashian rushed to his side after the former NBA star was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel in October. Odom is believed to have overdosed on cocaine and other drugs.
While Kardashian is still very involved in his recovery. She said he’s still healing, a process she describes as « day by day. »
« Every day like I say ‘I’m doing press for the book.’ And he’ll just look like, ‘What? What are you talking about?’ And I’ll remind him again. So it’s constantly reminding him, but that’s what we do every day until he gets better. And you know the brain is magical, » she said. « It’s gonna heal in time. »
Kardashian, who also launches a talk show called « Kocktails with Khloe » Jan. 20 on the FYI network, has kept her sense of humor through all the drama. She jokes about being a « polygamist » since she has maintained her relationship with her boyfriend, NBA’s James Harden, while caring for Odom.
« It’s a very interesting dynamic that I have going on. It is also just crazy at the same time that I have to explain everything that I do and the choices I’m making when I know the choices I’m making, my boyfriend knows the choices, my family knows the choices, » she said. « You just have to like kind of laugh at everything because if you don’t laugh you’re gonna cry. So the answer is start laughing. »
She said communication is the key to her relationship with Harden.
« If you make someone feel comfortable I think any situation you can work through. But I still respect how he feels and what his boundaries are, » she said. « I’m sure it’s confusing, but we know we’re not confused. »
Kardashian dedicated the book, which is a New York Times best-seller, to her famous siblings, her mother and her stepparent, Caitlyn Jenner.
Though they had butted heads on their E! reality series « Keeping Up with the Kardashians, » she said her relationship with Jenner is now in a good place.
« Things are so much better with Caitlyn and I and I love her, » said Kardashian. « I think it’s just separating the two identities. They are two different people and that’s a beautiful thing. But I think even Bruce, when Bruce was transitioning, I think he thought maybe he would still be Bruce and Caitlyn. … Letting that go and just being comfortable that Caitlyn is one person and Bruce is another. »
- The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality star released her new book “Strong Looks Better Naked” last week, offering a look into her renewed obsession with health, how heartache and her highly-publicized relationship with Lamar Odom made her more resilient, and the strength she’s found within herself and from her family of headline-making women.
- We spoke with Kardashian on the phone for a candid conversation about the adversity she’s faced, how the gym ultimately became her refuge from the chaos, who her favorite sister to work out with is (hint: it’s NOT Kim Kardashian) and why San Diego has such a special place in her heart.
MD: Hi Khloe! We’re excited to have you here in San Diego.
KK: I’m so excited. You know my mom and my grandma are from San Diego.
MD: I know! That’s actually what I wanted to ask you about. Do you have a favorite memory or favorite place to visit here?
KK: My grandmother lives in La Jolla, and she has a children’s clothing store called Shannon & Co. on Wall St. I used to stay there with her as a kid, a week here and there, and I would work in her store. I used to go and see the seals all the time. I just went to see my grandmother like a month ago, and the seals have taken over that f*cking beach. It’s insane how many seals there are now. I love the seals and that was a huge memory for me, but I have to tell you it smelled so bad. Definitely as a kid, it’s my fondest memory. But honey, that smell was not worth it as an adult (laughs).
MD: Family is obviously a huge part of your life. Going along with the whole health theme of your book, I want to know: Do you guys ever workout together, and who do you love to work out with most?
>KK: Definitely! It depends. Kimberly and I, before she was pregnant, used to workout together. But I would get kind of irritated with her because she doesn’t really do much and somehow she just gets this perfect body. She kind of walks on the treadmill, and I am like sprint racing like I’m in a decathlon. So I don’t really like to work out with her.
Kendall and I share the same trainer and sometimes we’ll share the hour together. Kendall’s actually a beast.
But my favorite little workout buddy has to be Kourtney. Kourtney started working out after her third baby, and she looks fantastic. But Kourtney goes balls-to-the-wall in her workout. She kills it. I definitely thought she was going to be a complainer, but she’s not at all. She is like Serena Williams, she’s a grunter (laughs). You know how Venus and Serena play, they grunt after every swing? Kourtney grunts after every squat, and it’s a little uncomfortable.
MD: Was there a certain moment in your life when you stopped and said, “Okay, this is what I’m going to commit to. Fitness is going to become my whole passion”?
KK: I was going through a really difficult time in my life, and I was just figuring out if I was going to file for divorce or not. It wasn’t about weight at all. It was that I needed a stress reliever, and I didn’t know where else to go where I felt alone and safe but I still wanted to be around people. My house obviously had all of these emotions and things in it, and I couldn’t just go to my parent’s house or my sister’s because I would be asked too many questions. [The gym] was just the safest place where I still got that emotional release. Then the side effects started happening. I started losing weight, and I started really enjoying the workout process. It was definitely gradual and it took time.
MD: Was there one shocking thing that you learned from starting to workout consistently?
KK: It’s definitely not as easy as anyone thinks. I hate when I hear people say, ‘I just lost 10 pounds in a week!’ I’m like ‘Oh, shut the f*ck up.’ I don’t know how that happens. It’s really hard. But I also think what’s shocking is how much I enjoy working out and how it’s part of my routine. I don’t weigh myself, and I don’t own a scale. It’s about how I feel. I think when you feel good, you look good and you just exude all this confidence that you have. I just love the way I feel, even how clear-headed I am. I think what surprised me most is how much I enjoy it now.
MD: Who do you look to for inspiration when you’re feeling weak?
KK: My family in and of itself. We literally live a real-life soap opera, like the things that happen in my family are just – I don’t know, they’re crazy and they don’t happen to the normal person. So just to see either how my mom handles something or Kourtney might handle something or Kimberly or Kendall, Kylie, Caitlyn, whatever… We take so much from each other and we bring each other so much strength and support. We have a lot of strong women in our family, and I’m really grateful for that.
MD: I know there’s a lot of healthy recipes that you share in the book, and your mom also came out with her own cookbook earlier this year. So who’s the best cook in your family?
KK: I would love to say me. I learned from my mom; she’s the one who got me to start cooking. My mom’s a fantastic cook, but I think I experiment more. I love to try new things and to see if I can make something or not. If you’re like, ‘I want shrimp fried rice,’ I say, ‘Okay, I could do that.’ I actually have no idea how to do that, and I’ll just like figure it out. I like to test myself a little bit.
MD: Since you’re on the road all of the time, how do you manage to get your workouts in?
KK: It’s definitely hard. For me, genuinely when I don’t work out, I feel like sh*t mentally. I don’t feel good about myself or it really throws me off my diet for that day. I tend to eat thoughtless food. When you work out, it sets the tone for your day, so I just try to make it a priority. Even if it’s just 30 minutes, you have to give yourself that time.
I try to think ahead and I always make sure the hotel I’m staying in has a 24-hour gym. You can’t kill yourself, though. You have to understand that sleep is just as important as fitness so you have to listen to your body and see how you’re feeling.
MD: So do you ever take a rest day? Do you ever just let yourself go once in awhile?
KK: Just recently I’ve been in the hospital for almost three-and-a-half weeks straight, and finally everyone was saying, ‘Khloe, you have to get out of the hospital and just for an hour, go to the gym and do something that’s for you. Nothing’s going to happen to Lamar.’ I had such anxiety going to the gym, but as soon as I left, and Kendall and I worked out with my trainer, I felt like ‘Oh my god, I’m OK. I’m a human again!’ I just felt so good. But for those three-and-a-half weeks, I didn’t think about the gym because I was thinking about other things, and I don’t beat myself up about it.
MD: I know the book covers a lot of ground, but what do you most want people reading it to take away?
KK: It’s not about one size fits all. It’s about being strong, mind, body and soul. I think people are so jaded with what beauty is these days, and so much of that has to do with social media and what we compare ourselves to. Instagram and social media, that’s nothing that will keep you warm at night. That’s nothing that really matters in the grand scheme of things. You have to love yourself first, and you have to be strong from within. I think if you’re strong from within, that just exudes what beauty is and what real strength is, and that’s what I want people to take away.
MD: What can we expect at the book signing on Friday?
KK: I honestly get really nervous that no one is going to show up! I hope that people come (laughs). I just don’t want to be there alone signing my own book for myself. I swear if I know at least one other person is going to be there, then I feel good, like we can just talk for two hours. I love San Diego, so I’m really excited.
Khloé signs and discusses her new book ‘Strong Looks Better Naked’ at Barnes & Noble on November 13, 2015 in San Diego, California
As stars and the industry’s makeup and hair gurus gathered together on Wednesday evening to celebrate The Hollywood Reporter’s Beauty Issue — which features one cover of Reese Witherspoon with makeup artist Molly R. Stern and another one with Taraji P. Henson and makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff — it’s safe to say that the chic crowd looked Insta-glam and ready at THR’s intimate dinner, sponsored by Laura Mercier.
An all black-clad Khloe Kardashian arrived at the London Hotel with her crew (also in almost all black) including mama-to-be Chrissy Teigen, who covered her tiny baby bump with high-waisted trousers, bestie Malika Haqq, stylist Monica Rose, hairstylist Jen Atkin (who was honored in the Beauty Issue) , who recently gave Khloe a new short ‘do (or a « Celine lob, » as she calls it) and also travels to Dubai to lend her magic touch there.
Khloe Kardashian is putting her body-shaming haters on blast!
he stunning Keeping Up With the Kardashians star just opened up to E! News’ Maria Menounos at her book signing for Strong Looks Better Naked (out now) at The Grove in Los Angeles Monday night. Khloe dished on previously being called the « fat sister » in comparison to Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian.
« It’s so funny because I didn’t think I was that sister, » Khloe told Maria. « I didn’t think I was the fat sister until people would call me that. And I was like, ‘Am I?’ Like I just didn’t really think of myself as being fat. »
While Khloe is dedicated to the gym now, what does she think about her health during that time?
« Looking back now I realized I was unhealthy but I wasn’t…I think we all know what fat is, I don’t think I was fat, I think I was unhealthy, » Khloe explained.
But Khloe, who revealed she lost 35 pounds over the summer, is definitely getting the last laugh with all of her haters, revealing that the hurtful comments only made her stronger.
« It did make me strong for sure and being able to endure that stuff but it also makes me realize how like f–ked up people are, » Khloe told Maria. « How judgmental and how people’s words can hurt other people and what affect it does have on them. I understand why some people succumb to eating disorders or just the peer pressure, I do get that. But I’m proud of myself that I didn’t and I’m able to walk away and actually say it made me stronger. »
After canceling her large-scale book tour in the wake of her husband Lamar Odom’s medical emergency, Khloé Kardashian made one of her first public appearances tonight to sign copies of her new book, « Strong Looks Better Naked, » at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in L.A.
The 31-year-old reality star chatted with « Extra’s » Terri Seymour, giving an update on how Lamar is doing since he was found unresponsive at a Las Vegas brothel. Kardashian said, « He’s definitely doing better, which is awesome. Every day is better, he’s off of all machines that, he is alive on his own, and no machines are helping him, which is great, but he still has a lot of physical and cognitive therapy to go through, so it’s a long road for him. »
She continued, « It’s gonna be a long long time. Every day is different — some days he’s really strong, and some days he’s weaker than the day before ’cause it’s mentally draining, I’m sure, on him. »
On the topic of what happens next, Kardashian explained, « He will try to learn how to walk… so that is first… When he can support himself on his own, or physically try to walk better on his own or at least with an assistance, with, like, a walker, then he will probably leave the hospital and do a lot of cognitive and mental strengthening. »
Kardashian also told Terri about her self-help book, which includes stories about her weight-loss journey and relationship struggles, including those with Lamar. She admits that at the time she was writing it, it felt right, but it is a bit weird now.
« It’s just awkward timing, but I definitely feel like the strongest that I’ve ever been and it was highly requested, people kept saying, ‘How did you get over a divorce?’ or, ‘How did you get through this or your father’s death?’ — so many obstacles that I have been through that have been public — and, ‘How did you do it and still always be so positive?’ and of course the weight loss. It’s not just about the weight for me, it was so much mentally and spiritually that I feel so much stronger which gave me the strength to lose weight and to keep it off, ’cause it’s also superficial if it’s just about the weight. »
Khloé added, « I was an emotional eater, I did that to cope with certain things and I think being stronger mentally makes you not want to do self-destructive things. I just felt like it was the right time because that’s what I was really going through in my life. »
Khloé Kardashian is setting the record straight about her relationship status with ex Lamar Odom, who currently is recovering at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after he was found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada in October.
“People say, ‘Oh, I pulled back on the divorce.’ They think it’s something sexual or there was a relationship to be thought about when he can’t even fully understand what’s happening,” the 31-year-old explained to The Insider With Yahoo at a signing for her new book, Strong Looks Better Naked. “He understands I’m dating James [Harden, another NBA star] but he’s not thinking about a relationship. He can hardly think about himself right now.”
Former Lakers star Odom turned 36-years-old last week and though he remains hospitalized, Khloé wasn’t about to his birthday go uncelebrated. The reality star planned a small get-together at the hospital.
“I don’t know if he fully understands everything. But I know he’s grateful and I’m not doing it for validation. I’m not doing it to get praise back,” she explained.
