7 Infamous ‘Twisted Sisters’ Cases Perfect for Khloé Kardashian’s New Reality Show

Should Khloé Kardashian’s siblings be concerned? The reality star just announced she’ll be the executive producer of a six-part Investigation Discovery series titled Twisted Sisters — a true crime show all about women who kill their sisters or sisters who team up to kill others.

« I am so excited to be bringing you Twisted Sisters, » Khloé tells fans, via Page Six « As a self-proclaimed true crime addict, there is no better way to tell these tales about the bonds that sisters possess and how they can go so terribly wrong. »

Investigation Discovery executive Henry Schleiff, with whom Khloé brainstormed the title of the show, is just as excited. « We are thrilled to be working with Khloé on this new venture, » he says. « With one of the most renowned experts on sisters now a member of our own ID family, we know she will be able to bring a unique perspective that will inform and entertain our fans, while enticing new viewers to tune in. »

Not to do Khloé’s job for her, but here are seven infamous cases she and the ID team could cover on the new show…
Kathleen Worrall

This 20-year-old Aussie stabbed her 18-year-old sister, Susan, more than 50 times after an argument over internet access and a hair straightener at their Strathfield home in 2015, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. The court believed Kathleen was suffering from a mood disorder at the time and gave her a six-year sentence for manslaughter. She died of natural causes in 2010 while still imprisoned.

Linda and Charlotte Mulhall

In 2005, these so-called « Scissor Sisters » killed and dismembered their mother’s allegedly abusive boyfriend, Farah Swaleh Noor, in Dublin, Ireland. Charlotte, 23 at the time, was later charged with murder and sentenced to life in prison; and Linda, 30 at the time, was charged with manslaughter and got a 15-year sentence.

Renuka Shinde and Seema Gavit

These sisters are on death row in India after being busted in 1996 for kidnapping more than a dozen children and murdering nine as part of a pickpocketing ring, according to the New York Post. They were convicted of six of the murders in 2001, but one conviction was overturned on appeal.

Karla Homolka

In 1990, when she was 20, this Canadian woman and her husband drugged, raped, and accidentally killed her 15-year-old sister, Tammy. She later pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the deaths of two other Ontario teens, Kristen French and Leslie Mahaffy.

Delfina and María de Jesús González

These Mexican sisters and brothel owners killed both prostitutes of theirs and clients. They were sentenced to 40 years in prison in 1965 after police raided the bordello and found the bodies of 91 people, as BBC News reports.

Christine and Léa Papin

In 1933, these French sisters and housemaids murdered their Le Mans employer’s wife, Madame Lancelin, and her daughter Genevieve, even gouging out their eyes. Christine was sentenced to life in prison, while Léa got a 10-year sentence.

Cleopatra

This Egyptian queen and brother Ptolemy XIII rose to power when their father died, but then Ptolemy ousted Cleopatra and took the throne for himself, so Cleopatra teamed up with Julius Caesar of Rome. Cleopatra’s sister (or half-sister) Arsinoe IV sided with Ptolemy, joining the Egyptian army against the Roman forces. Cleopatra and Caesar won, Ptolemy was killed in battle, and Arsinoe was exiled… But Cleopatra had her killed in 41 B.C.
