Sisters will join Kim Kardashian in having momager Kris Jenner’s firm, Jenner Communications, handle their PR.
The family that quits together, sticks together.
Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian have fired their longtime publicist Jill Fritzo, Confidenti@l has learned exclusively.
We’re told that the sisters — who recently wrapped filming “Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons” — quietly dropped the flack, who works for major agency PMK*BNC, last week.
Suspicions were raised when journalists reaching out to Fritzo’s office were redirected to Jennifer Stith, the business director at Jenner Communications. Stith, a former advertising coordinator at Condé Nast and consulting producer at Fox, is listed as handling talent management, TV production and brand management at the company.
The firm, headed by Kardashian momager Kris Jenner, is a production company that also handles branding and business development.
There’s been something of a Kardashian exodus from Fritzo’s firm, which had repped Kim and her family since 2009 and later added the other two Kardashian sisters.
Khloe and Kourtney’s sister Kim dropped Fritzo in September 2013, soon after getting together with Kanye West, in favor of Ina Treciokas at Slate PR.
Mom Jenner and brother Rob Kardashian followed suit, handling their PR in-house through Jenner Communications.
“It’s a been a long time coming,” an insider told Confidenti@l. “For more than a year the Kardashians have been taking meetings with (powerhouse PR agencies) like Sunshine Sachs, BWR and 42West.”
Her other clients include Brooke Shields, Selena Gomez and Michael Strahan. Previously she represented Courtney Love and Shannen Doherty.
Fritzo told Confidenti@l: “We are very proud of the work we’ve done for the Kardashian family over the years.”
The veteran flack shepherded the family through Khloe’s sudden marriage to Lamar Odom (as well as the ugly split that followed), Kim’s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries and countless other PR crises.
