Khloé Kardashian talks with Ok! Magazine Australia: “Revenge is sweet”
Her love-life is kind of complicated, butwhen it comes to being amama,
Khloé Kardashian is more than keeping up!
Koko’s daughter True celebrated her first birthday in April –andwhile her shock splitwith her daughter’s father, basketball ace Tristan Thompson, has been traumatic, the 35-year-old insists she’s moved on.
Part of that process includes launching her third Koko Kollectionwith sister Kylie Jenner. It’s just the latest business endeavour Khloé has pursued alongside her fashion range Good American and her Revenge Body TV show– on top of her parenting duties.
Here, Khloé reveals howshe keeps up with her crazy schedule and how she’s ruled out dating… for now.
Ok! Magazine: You’ve been through some ups and downs in relationships – but is thereanyone special in your life now?
Khloé Kardashian: No. I’m not even thinking like that because I’m so in love with True, being with her and enjoying every minute. I’m working on myself – mind, body and soul. I’m happy. I don’t feel a sense of urgency to be in a relationship or even go on a date. I don’t want to.
Ok! Magazine:Do you have help with True?
Khloé Kardashian: Yes, because I work as well. I have someone with her when I can’t be, but
it’s not around the clock. I love being hands-on, but when I have to work, I do. I’m so blessed and fortunate because we film a reality show, so I try to have her with me as much as possible when we’re at the house. When we’re out and about, she is on a really strict schedule because I’mcrazy! We have her music classes and her art classes, but as much as I can, I’m with her.
Ok! Magazine: Keeping Up with the Kardashians is in its 17th season. Are you sick of the cameras yet?
Khloé Kardashian: It’s still enjoyable for us. It’s become second nature. I think keeping the same people around us has helped it just feel like we can do anything and everything.
Ok! Magazine: How do you get motivated to exercise regularly and maintain such a healthy lifestyle?
Khloé Kardashian: I really do believe in the buddy system when working out. That has helped me stay motivated, because we all have days we don’t want to get out of bed. I love the buddy system, sharing the same hobbies and getting competitive with one another.
Ok! Magazine:What is the one piece of advice you’d give about getting the body you want?
Start small, but be consistent. If you work out for just 20 minutes every day, it will change you so much.
Ok! Magazine: You have a new collection out with Kylie Cosmetics. How has motherhood changed your beauty routine?
There have been a lot of nights where I’ve fallen asleep with make-up on, which I never used to do. And I’ll still wear it the next morning, which is really hot! I never used to do that. It’s one thing that I’m like, ‘Ugh, how did this happen?’
Ok! Magazine: What is the one beauty item you cannot live without?
I’m obsessed with sunscreen. I have sunscreen in all of my cars. When you’re
driving, through your windshield, the sun is beaming on your hands. Your hands and your neck tell your age.
Ok! Magazine:What is the greatest beauty lesson you’ve learnt?
Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise! I put on vitamin E oil or Bio-Oil or any type
of oil I love. I put it on from my forehead down, and even in between my breasts. I’ll do it at night, [and] when I go to bed. I’m like a Slip ’N Slide! I’m covered in oil and I don’t care. I’m just gross, but that’s
OK. I look perfect!
Ok! Magazine: How easy was it to collaborate with your little sister?
It’s great. I don’t care if I’m Kylie’s older sister, I just really respect that this is Kylie’s business. She built Kylie Cosmetics, and it’s an honour to be a part of it.
