Lamar Odom refuses to enter rehab program, despite Khloe Kardashian’s pleas

Defiant Lamar Odom refuses to check into rehab, despite his concerned ex’s apparent pleas.

Reality star Khloe Kardashian has doggedly — and unsuccessfully — tried to convince her estranged ex-Laker husband to enter a treatment program for addiction, reports TMZ.

Odom’s other family members’ persuasive efforts have also fallen on deaf ears, even as they’ve reportedly brought up his own father’s heroin addiction. His teenage kids, Destiny Odom and Lamar Odom Jr., are apparently also concerned.

The Queens-born baller, who completed a rehab stint in 2013 following a DUI and alleged substance abuse problems, reportedly won’t even try an outpatient facility.

The new report comes just days after Odom was spotted buying cognac and mixed drinks at the Johnny O’Brien pub in Sherman Oaks, Calif., early Sunday morning, hours before he attended a church service with the Kardashian clan.

“Basically, they were just having a great time,” a bar employee told the Daily News on Tuesday of Odom and his three pals. “Everybody was like, ‘Oh my God, look who’s here.’”

The former athlete’s confidence that he can “casually drink” — despite the booze-fueled drug-and-sex romp that almost killed him in October — has fractured his relationship with Kardashian, TMZ previously reported.

The “Kocktails with Khloe” star, who put her divorce from Odom on hold last year to help him recover, has reportedly resigned herself to the fact that she eventually “has to stop trying” to bail him out.

“I hate this feeling…. Helpless,” she tweeted Tuesday amid reports of his bar exploits, before sharing two uplifting messages from preacher Joel Osteen.

She continued her cryptic tweeting Wednesday morning, dispatching vague messages about kindness.

« Please be kind always because everyone you meet is fighting an internal battle you know nothing about, » she wrote.

Odom, 36, has been on the mend from the harrowing Oct. 13 brothel bender that put him in a days-long coma. Following months of physical therapy, he made his public debut at brother-in-law Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 show last month.
