Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian isn’t completely over and done with.
The NBA star filed a response to the E! star’s filing from May today in a Los Angeles Superior Court, reiterating that “irreconcilable differences” was the reason for the dissolution of marriage, but also requests that the judge deny the court’s ability to award Khloe with spousal support.
According to Odom’s recent filing, the former NBA star is not requesting spousal support, but did request that a judge terminate Kardashian’s right to ask for alimony. He is also asking for all attorney’s fees to be paid by the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, while community assets are still being evaluated.
In late May, the E! star went forward with the divorce after putting it on hold to tend to his health needs. Khloe’s attorney Laura Wasser went into court and asked the judge to withdraw the divorce petition that was awaiting a judge’s signature. The judge granted the petition and the divorce case was over.
A source told E! News at the time, “Khloe is looking forward to moving on.”
The pair first filed for divorce in December 2013, but as you might remember, Khloe famously called it off in October of last year. A source told us at the time, “Khloe thinks this was the right thing to do right now.”
