The Kardashian family have reportedly signed a $150million deal with E! to make five more series of their reality TV show.
According to TMZ, the package will include all E! specials, and promotions related to the Kardashian Klan and this will take them through to 2019.
Their Momager Kris Jenner who got the deal with the network to extend the family’s contract will be taking a ten percent managing fee in the deal.
The joint deal signed with E! enables the Kardashians to decide how to split the money between them, with Kylie Jenner reportedly having to take the least amount from the windfall.
You might think that after ten years of the constant filming, tabloid drama, and abundant lawsuits, one of TV’s most famous families might want to cool it. But as they’re earning a reported $30 million for each season’s cycle — which is $10 million more per season than they’d been making — despite recent ratings falling, it makes sense for the growing family to want to cash in.
Kris Jenner takes a tidy 15% for the negotiations while the eldest three sisters, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe will share the 60%. The remaining 25% person would then be divided between Kendall and Kylie. It is not sure if their ‘prodigal’ brother Rob who dumped the show few years ago but is still a recurrent topic within the family would get any of the E! money.
